NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING
Nu-Pro Surface Treatments Ltd NDT department is lead by a Team Leader qualified to Level 3 ASNT, EN4179, NAS 410 and three level 2 personnel qualified to NAS410E. This facility has electrostatic dye penetrant for its larger components with water washable and post emulsifiable systems (up to 3.0m diameter) and magnetic flaw detect up to 2.0m in length. This also includes acid etch inspection for machining abuse including stainless steels, hardness testing, conductivity and is able to provide comprehensive external level III support.

SURFACE TREATMENT/
ELECTRO-PLATING
The new plating area includes a semi-automated anodising/chromating line able to treat components up to 3.0m in length and up to 1.8m deep. In addition to this they are able to offer other treatments, which include cadmium, electroless nickel, gold, bronze, silver, zinc and copper plating. This area has highly trained personnel to cope with the necessary demands of customer requirements. Nu-Pro Surface Treatments Ltd is also able to do blasting and heat treatments. The plating shop has a dedicated area for masking to ensure that they adhere to customer"s specifications.

PAINTING
Investment has been made into latest technology, large capacity sealed spray booths for the paint shop, together with all the necessary ovens for curing. Nu-Pro Surface Treatments Ltd are able to prime and paint to aircraft & defence specifications, also dry film lubricant, automated ink part marking and specialist masking services. The company also has a dedicated sub-assembly area.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Nu-Pro Surface Treatments Ltd has full laboratory and technical support for its systems and practices. This includes fully calibrated equipment, i.e. XRF Spectrometer, Fisher Deltascope (plating thickness measuring instrument), SYLVAC air gauging system. Laboratory facilities include salt spray testing of all parts and the necessary requirements to ensure that the solutions in the plating shop are kept within the set parameters. Also, included are testing facilities, to assist with new product development.
